The Big Tidy Up – 1st Nov

The Bagshot Big Tidy Up is on Sat 1st November.  Please meet outside the Village Cafe at 10.00am and please wear proper clothing and welly boots.

PLEASE REGISTER with Gret Woodason (gret@woodason.me.uk) or Glyn Carpenter (Village Cafe Bagshot, glynmarie.carpenter@virgin.net, 01276 850445)

“This clean up will show others that we care about the future of our local environment and that we are not prepared to live, work and play in an area that is blighted by rubbish. What is good about working together like this is it creates a sense of community and for some of our younger volunteers it is their first taste of active citizenship.”

If you are able, please help advertise this event with the downloadable poster: the big tidy up.pdf

Bagshot Village day -13th Dec

On Saturday December 13th there will be another Village Day, which  is to be a joint venture between the businesses in the village, The Village Plan Committee, other organisations and of course the Bagshot Society. They have already applied to have part of the High Street closed for some of the day and have some entertainment planned. If you wish to  have a stall for the day, please contact Glyn Carpenter in The Village Cafe, or email info@bagshotvillageplan.org.uk and it’ll get passed on to Glyn. If you have any ideas, please also contact Glyn. On that day, you will have the opportunity to see the results of the last Village Day, held back in May and hopefully see how some of the issues are going to be actioned.
